Culpeper Residents Fight Against Development Threats

As a resident of Culpeper County, I know firsthand how historic resources like museums, battlefields and heritage sites play an instrumental part in our community. Development such as solar farms and data centers threaten the livelihood of these resources while having a negative impact on Culpeper’s tourism economy.  The County is currently updating its Comprehensive Plan and should finish that work, including assessment of the long term economic and environmental impacts of data centers and solar industrial scale solar facilities, before approving more large-scale projects.
