Traveling Exhibition at the Virginia State Capitol Visitor Center

Virginia 250 and the American Battlefield Trust are excited to feature the American Revolution Experience at the Virginia State Capitol Visitor Center from June 24 - August 15, 2024. The innovative pop-up exhibition includes display panels and interactive digital kiosks that use storytelling, illustration, technology and unique artifacts and primary accounts to connect modern audiences with the people and places that shaped the birth of our nation. 

Gallery hours in the Capitol Square Visitor Center are:

• 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday-Saturday
• 1:00 to 5:00 PM on Sunday

There are several pay parking options near Capitol Square listed on parkopedia.com. Access to the Capitol is free. Visitors will go through security screening inside the lobby of the public entrance located at Bank and 10th streets.
