Chancellorsville Virtual Tour
Kris White and Dan Davis from the American Battlefield Trust are joined by Chris Mackowski from Emerging Civil War for a Virtual Tour of the Chancellorsville battlefield. They take us back to April and May of 1863 and highlight the battlefield where the first day’s action occurred, and where the Trust has saved threatened land with our members’ help. Our historians will also discuss Stonewall Jackson’s famous flank attack of May 2, 1863. That march initiated the Confederate offensive, carrying them north across the Potomac and to Gettysburg culminating in Pickett’s Charge.
