Augusta was a major manufacturing center for the Confederacy with the Augusta Arsenal and the Confederate Powder Works Factory. Artifacts from both Confederate munitions centers are exhibited in the museum. In addition, the museum features Confederate uniforms, accoutrements, flags, firearms, and swords.
