Art in Parks- “Dear Earth”  

Join in on a community art project at the Wildlife Station at Five Forks Battlefield! 

Let's redecorate the wildlife mailbox in preparation for Earth Day. You are welcome to add a few brush strokes to the mailbox and create your own piece of wildlife themed art using watercolor or colored pencils. Postcards will be available to write or draw a "Dear Earth" note that will be shared at the Eastern Front Visitor Center in honor of Earth Day.

Directions: Park at the horse-trailer parking on White Oak Road and hike .29 miles on the Steuart Trail, at the intersection follow the Griffin Trail .40 miles to the Wildlife Station. A Ranger will be there to meet you. The trail will also be marked with pink ribbon.
