Resource Spotlight

Secrets of History & Unlocking FREE Resources
American Battlefield Trust Event
May 6, 2025 @ 7:00 PM EDT

Shhh...it's a secret, but you asked. (We heard.) By popular request, let's explore the undercover lives and experiences of spies during the American Revolution and the Civil War. How did they change the course of history? Who was caught and who escaped? What were some of the methods used to pass secrets?

You’re invited to join the American Battlefield Trust for a Resource Spotlight Webinar, unlocking some FREE resources that are classroom-ready. Get facts and new tools as you spy through the past and help your students uncover some of the dangerous missions that changed the Revolution and Civil War.

Sarah Kay Bierle from the American Battlefield Trust’s Education Department readies the spy-glasses and decodes the ciphers to follow the history through some exciting accounts. Then, we’ll take a closer look at biographies, primary sources, articles and how to organize them so you can save and find the information at any critical moment.

Register today and make plans to join us for this free webinar. (But whatever you do, remember, don't put your secret plans in your boots.)
