Hearing in our Legal Fight Against the Wilderness Crossing Development

Partner Event
March 21, 2025 @ 1:30 PM - 5:00 PM EDT

110 North Madison Road
Orange, VA 22960

Join us as we take the next major step in our legal challenge of Orange County Board of Supervisors' approval of the disastrous Wilderness Crossing mega-development. This massive project would forever alter 2,600 acres of land on or adjacent to the historic Wilderness battlefield, the site of the first clash between Ulysses S. Grant and Robert E. Lee.

This will be a procedural hearing, also called a demurer hearing, during which we will be making our case for why our challenge should proceed to a full trial. Attendees will have to opportunity to hear firsthand the details of our charges that the approval of this development was conducted without sufficient notice or opportunity for public input.

Space will be limited, so plan to arrive ahead of the hearing start time of 1:30 pm. We will also be hosting a virtual briefing ahead of the hearing for those who plan to attend. More details about the Zoom briefing will be available soon.
