Meeting place
Volunteers will sign in and receive their assignments at the park office located at the top of the hill near the parking lot. From the parking lot, follow the paved driveway uphill to the brick office.
Planned Activities
Tear down and restack historic fence, trash pickup, mulch trails, cleaning interpretive signs, fence maintenance, brush removal
History or Educational Activities
Volunteers will receive a brief orientation to the park and its history at the beginning of Park Day
Should I bring any tools or supplies?
Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own work gloves. Additionally, bringing any of their own shovels and rakes will be helpful.
Is there a rain date?
In the instance of inclement weather, Park Day will continue as planned.
