Meeting place
Volunteers will meet at 9 AM at the battlefield pavilion located on the Old Wilderness Road near Hazel Patch Kentucky.
Directions: Take Exit 49 off interstate 75 (Livingston exit). Go east 0.6 miles on KY 909. Turn right onto US 25 south and go 0.7 miles. Turn left onto Hazel Patch Road and go 0.7 miles. Turn left at the sign directing you to Camp Wildcat. Go 2.4 miles to the battlefield pavilion and parking area. Note: this is a narrow, single lane gravel, country road. Drive slowly and use caution.

Planned Activities
The following work activities are planned for Park Day:
- minor Trail maintenance.
-Interpretive sign, cleaning, maintenance and replacement.
- Litter, pick up on the site and access roads.
- Split rail fence repair.
Foundation members will provide oversight and supervision of project work.

Should I bring any tools or supplies?
Volunteers should:
- bring work gloves and wear shoes/boots suitable for working outdoors and walking on uneven terrain.
- wear outdoor clothing suitable for the forecasted weather that day.
All tools and materials necessary for the projects will be provided.
Water and light refreshments will be provided on site by the foundation.
