Veterans' & Active Duty Appreciation Event

In honor of these military holidays, Fort Stanwix National Monument will be offering all active duty soldiers and veterans with ID, a lifetime entry pass to all National Park Service locations.

This pass covers entrance fees at national parks and national wildlife refuges as well as standard amenity fees (day use fees) at national forests and grasslands and on lands managed by the National Park Service, US Fish and Wildlife Service, US Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation and US Army Corps of Engineers. A total of over 2,000 sites.

To obtain your pass, stop through the park visitor center between 9 am and 4 pm on Saturday, May 18 or Saturday, November 9 with appropriate active duty or veteran's ID (as listed below). In addition to the lifetime entry pass, you will also receive a national parks map (while supplies last) to help you plan your next park adventure!

What counts as veterans' ID?
- Unexpired Department of Defense Identification Card (DD Form 2, DD Form 2765, or Next Generation USID replacement)
- Veteran Health Identification Card (VHIC)
- Veteran ID Card
- Veterans designation on a state-issued US driver’s license or identification card
