Step Into The Iconic Gettysburg Photograph of Confederate Prisoners

Experience Civil War Photography Firsthand

In mid-July of 1863, Matthew Brady took one of the most famous photos of the Civil War, as three Confederate prisoners from the Battle of Gettysburg stood on Seminary Ridge. This is one of the few photographs that exists of Confederate soldiers in the field.

Garry Adelman of the American Battlefield Trust "steps in" to this historic shot.
