(Washington, D.C.) — Since 1995, March has been recognized as Women’s History Month in the United States, serving as a time for people across the nation to honor the impact of women throughout American history. From serving their country to breaking down barriers, women have played a vital role in shaping America's history, art, culture and more. As Abigail Adams once called on her husband John to “remember the ladies,” the Trust recognizes women’s historical contributions that helped shape our present.
