Old Barracks Museum
101 Barrack Street
Trenton, NJ 08608
United States
Located on Barrack Street, the old Trenton Barracks were constructed during the French and Indian Wars due to colonial protest of the quartering of British troops within their homes. During the American Revolution, the barracks were utilized by American, British, and Hessian troops in the early years of the war as both a place of quarter and as a hospital during and following the Battle of Trenton.
Today, the Old Barracks are the only remaining military structure from the French and Indian War and the American Revolution. Open to public tours, this historic site in Trenton is a must-see for any history enthusiast.
