Fort Erie

Operating as a living museum by the Niagara Parks Commission, Fort Erie National Historic Site of Canada commemorates the siege of Fort Erie from August 4 – September 21, 1814, which ended in an American victory. Visitors can see reenactments of the battle, interact with living historians, and learn more about the War of 1812 at the area’s Welcome Centre.
