Pickett's Mill Battlefield
The Pickett's Mill Battlefield State Historic Site offers visitors the unique opportunity to experience a Civil War battlefield virtually unchanged since 1864. Well-marked trails help interpret the battle. Visitors can travel roads used by Federal and Confederate troops, see the earthworks they built, and walk through the same ravine where hundreds died. An authentic 1800's pioneer cabin is furnished and open for tours during certain events.
