Buckman Tavern

The Buckman Tavern, built in 1710, was the gathering place of many town meetings. On April 19, 1775, hours befor the Revolutionary War began, Captain Park and his militia gathered at the Tavern awaiting the incoming British troops. "Something Must be Done" exhibition is currently being shown at the tavern, highlighting the women of the Revolution.
