The mission of the Hill College History Complex is to explore the experiences of Texans during wartime. The research center houses and extensive collection of archival materials and books, microfilm, and vertical files on the Civil War, with emphasis on Confederate military history. The museum displays a collection of military art, guns, photographs, original battle flags, and artifacts.
