Starting just outside of Mauckport near the Kentucky border and running through seven counties of Indiana before crossing into Ohio at Harrison, the John Hunt Morgan Heritage Trail through Indiana follows the path taken by Brig. Gen. John Hunt Morgan and his Confederate cavalry during the Great Raid of 1863. This route is lined with directional signs and 27 road-side points of interest displays.
