Hotel for Annual Conference

Is there a host hotel for this conference?

  • Yes. Our host hotel is the Hilton Boston Park Plaza. All tours will depart from and return to the Hilton Boston Park Plaza. All receptions and dinners will also take place at the host hotel.
  • The hotel is located at 50 Park Plaza, Boston, MA 02116.
  • Check-in is at 3:00 pm. Check-out is 11:00 am.
  • Leave a little extra time to get to meals and tours when using the hotel elevator. They are reliable and in good condition, but they are being used by other groups and sometimes the wait is a little longer.
  • Please Note: We are no longer hosting the Annual Conference from the Omni Parker House Hotel. Any former hotel reservations have been canceled, but will be automatically updated to the new hotel reservation system. 

Getting to Boston

What are the travel options to get to Boston?

  • Logan International Airport (BOS) is 4.2 miles from the Hilton Boston Park Plaza.
  • Other airports include Manchester (MHT) (44 miles away), Providence(PVD) (48 miles away), and Hyannis (HYA) (62 miles away).

What is the best way to get to the host hotel once I arrive in Boston?

  • Logan Airport has more four terminals, and their car rental facility is off-site. Please add at least 30 minutes, if you are planning to rent a vehicle.
  • Uber or Taxi from Logan Airport would cost approximately $13 to $30, depending on the time of day and number of people being transported. The designated Uber pick-up at Logan is in Terminal B.
  • The Back Bay Logan Express bus costs $3.00 round trip. The bus picks up at all terminals every half hour. Get off at the Dartmouth Street stop (opposite Back Bay Station) and walk 13 minutes to the Hilton Boston Park Plaza. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time.
  • Boston’s MBTA 'T' train service:
    • To get to the Airport MBTA Station, from Terminals A and B, take Bus #22. From Terminals C and E, take Bus #33. Then, from the Airport Station take the Blue Line to Government Center Station. Transfer at Government Center to the Green Line and take it to Arlington Station. Fare is $2.40 each way. The walk from Arlington Station is about two minutes to the Hilton Boston Park Plaza.
    • All 'T' stations close to our hotel:
      • MBTA Arlington Station (Green Line) is a two-minute walk
      • MBTA Back Bay Station (Orange line) is a six-minute walk
      • MBTA Chinatown Station (Orange Line) is a ten-minute walk
  • Train service:
    • Back Bay Station is the closest train station to the Hilton Boston Park Plaza. It is a six-minute walk. The Station serves Amtrak (Acela Express and Northeast Regional trains), MBTA Commuter Rail, and the MBTA Orange Line. 

What are the parking options for staying at the host hotel?

  • Valet parking is $70.00 per day with in and out privileges. Please use the 34 Columbus Ave., Boston, MA 02116 address when parking.
  • On-site hotel self-parking is unavailable.
  • Off-site self-parking is available. The nearest garages are located at 26 Park Plaza, Boston, MA, 02116, 10 St. James Ave., 200 Stuart Street, Boston, MA, and 40 St. Charles Street South. Please see Spot Hero to find additional parking. 

During the Event

What is the registration fee?

The event registration fee is $850.00. Registration is currently closed. You may click here to join the event waitlist. 

What is the refund policy?

  • On or before April 16, 2025 - 100% Refund
  • April 16 - April 25, 2025 - 50% Refund
  • After April 25, 2025 - 0% Refund 

What meals are included in the full registration fee?

As part of your registration, you are provided with the following meals:

  • Thursday: The Welcome Reception includes a full meal with dessert. Two free drinks for beer, wine, and sodas.
  • Friday: includes breakfast before your tour, lunch on your tour, and a full meal with dessert. Two free drinks for beer, wine, and sodas.
  • Saturday: includes breakfast before your tour, lunch on your tour. Dinner will be on your own on Saturday evening.
  • Sunday: includes a breakfast buffet.

Will there be American Battlefield Trust merchandise for sale at the event?

  • No, we will not have merchandise for sale at the event. However, you can get your American Battlefield Trust "swag" on our online store here.

What is the attire for the activities scheduled during the conference?

This is YOUR vacation, and we want you to be comfortable and casual. However, for particular events, we can suggest the following:

  • Thursday: Business Casual for Welcome Reception. (Leave the tie or heels in your room.)
  • Friday and Saturday Tours: Casual clothing with closed-toed walking shoes. We strongly suggest long pants for battlefield tours.
  • Friday Evening: Business/Dressy attire.  (Jacket and Tie for men. Dress or slacks for women.)

Remember to check the weather and be prepared. We also recommend you bring a hat, umbrella or rain jacket, sunscreen, and bug spray.
